What is a Pre-qualification questionnaire?
A Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) is commonly used for companies that are planning on taking on large contracts. It is a questionnaire that is used to assess the suitability of a company’s technical, financial and commercial capabilities and to see if the company in question meets the minimum criteria.
Safe Contractor, Acclaim, Achilies, CHAS and many other third party accreditation providers have all requested that Hart Safety assist them with the help of filling out this questionnaire. These accreditation companies request this proof and need the documents to provide confirmation that their company adheres to a minimum level of competence under The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM 2015).
Having a recognised accreditation in place will demonstrate to potential clients that the company has experience, as well as health and safety and technical knowledge and is able to manage design hazards and subcontracting. We are here to help our clients gain this accreditation.
On the questionnaire, you will be required to give your companies contact details, all evidence of your previous work and you will have to answer questions on things like finance, equal opportunities, quality and health and safety. This questionnaire will only have to be completed once. You will however, be asked to update any information when the questionnaire expires.
