When it comes to health and safety regulations, from time to time there are going to be changes. These changes are made to make the workplace safer. Here is one example. The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM 2015) was changed and came into force on the 6 April 2015 and replaced the previous regulations from 2007. All projects that have been completed must now be compliant with the new regulations. These regulations have been put in place to improve health and safety within the construction industry. It also clarifies what is expected from a company and has set out some clear rules of working and the minimum standards required so there is no misunderstanding or confusion to anyone the project should affect, because the new laws and regulations have come into place.
Hart Safety are very keen to educate our new clients as well as our old clients of these changes. Many companies were worried about how it would affect them but we helped them to adapt to the new regulations.
